There have been MaleExtra Review numerous psychological studies on the concept of procrastination and delayed gratification. In fact, one of my favorite blogs, (You Are Not So Smart) covers this quite well in this article. Essentially, it's no surprise that you and the rest of the human species would rather have an award right now instead of waiting a month or a year to get something that seems only a little more substantial. This, I think is a major reason for lack of willpower and the issue of sticking with a diet for a long enough time to see substantial long term results. I understand that right now that piece of cake seems a whole lot better and easier to get than abstaining and working hard for a few months to a year for an awesome healthy new body and a much better outlook on life and frankly, I can't blame you. I would probably do the same thing. At the moment that wonderfully delicious piece of cake seems just as substantial a reward as a healthy body seems a year from now. The problem with that sentiment is that it's totally wrong, the benefits of a healthy body and outlook outweigh the feeling of pleasure you'll get from that cake literally 126,000 times (approximately). So ask yourself, would you rather have one piece of cake right now or a feeling that equals 126,000 pieces of cake a year from now That's seriously what it's like.
