There are certain proteins that code for specific traits or functions and do so because they are formed like the letter "I" more so than they are formed like the letter "T." Due to the fact that the shapes of these particles exist in either a left-handed or right-handed fashion, these scientists assumed that they might produce alien life based upon the human genome, other than that every place there was a human left-handed molecule, a corresponding yet similar right-handed "mirror-image" molecule would be developed and used in its location. The very same idea would be utilized for existing human molecules that exist in the right-handed fashion. If we exist in either the left-handed or right-handed kind (and we do), why couldn't other beings exist as our precise mirror images?
